Gods of Vedic mythology and vowel sounds of speech.
Deities Rudras and atmospheric phenomena.

Atmospheric or air gods Rudras in the context of Vedic mythology in hymns of Vedas personify rains, snows, fogs, clouds, thunderclouds, lightning, winds and other natural phenomena. Namely characteristics of atmospheric gods are connected with diverse parameters of terrestrial atmosphere or conditions of the sky, and consequently these celestial entities are interconnected with heavenly deities Adityas, but however two divine groups in hierarchy of Vedic myths have distinctions.
Adityas personify light which extends in heavenly space.
Rudras are connected with atmospheric phenomena and create air medium in which light extends.
In particular Rudras are connected with atmospheric pressure and temperature, also humidity of air, that is the reason of diverse meteorological and climatic processes.
In aggregate heavenly and atmospheric air gods personify connection of sunlight beams with atmosphere of the Earth, that is equivalent to phonetic parities of consonants and vowel sounds of human speech.
Texts of Vedas give information about eleven atmospheric gods, that is equal to number of vowel sounds or phonemes in contemporary Russian language and alphabet.
Rudras according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit are roaring deities, that corresponds to vowel sounds which are formed as a result of sounding voice.
Names of eleven atmospheric Vedic gods and corresponding vowel sounds of speech are shown on the chart.

atmospheric deities of Vedic myths as climatic and meteorological processes Dark points on the chart are units which correspond to names of gods, and lines specify hierarchical interrelations.
Letters of vowel sounds of speech of contemporary Russian language are compared to names of gods.
Also colors of rainbow spectrum are compared to names of gods and vowel sounds of speech.
Resd information about ratio of colors of rainbow spectrum or spectral parameters of sounds with vowel phonemes of speech and characters of Russian language and alphabet on pages of this website in other section which is named as meta linguistics.

Also within the shown chart it is possible to see many other phonetic parities of speech sounds and corresponding hierarchical interrelations of Vedic mythological gods.
INDRA - sound É - white color.
INDRA is main deity in hierarchical group of atmospheric gods and corresponds with vowel sound É.
Sometimes INDRA in the context of Vedic mythology can be ranked as heavenly or terrestrial god who corresponds to consonants of speech, that is equivalent to double value É as vowel or consonant phoneme from the view point of contemporary linguistics.
INDRA has divine name which in the context of Vedic Sanskrit matters Main Rule of World.
INDRA is in the center of universe and rules over functions of all gods, and in essence he possesses heavenly, water, fiery and terrestrial qualities.
INDRA corresponds with white color which from the view point of physiology of perception results from addition red, green, blue, namely basic spectral colors which human eyes perceive by receptors of retina. Also white color results from addition of red with green or blue with yellow, namely basic spectral colors which people perceive by nerve cells or neurons of cerebral cortex in human brain.
Pay attention that as a result of combination of red with green there is formation of brown, but as a result of addition there is white color. Also as a result of combination of blue with yellow there is formation of green, but as a result of addition there is white color.
Also pay attention that three kinds of receptors in retina of human eyes perceive spectral waves of red, green, blue colors. But nerves of cerebral cortex in brain perceive dichotomizing pairs of red and green, also yellow and blue colors, that is possible to commensurate with psycho-physiological complex of four mental functions of human personality in the context of analytical psychology of Carl Gustav Jung and socionics of Augustinavichjute, namely with ethics, logics, intuition and sensory.
Also pay attention that in total three hierarchical groups of divine entities in Vedic myths correspond to three levels of human perception of visible reality.
Atmospheric gods correspond to perception of colors, namely differential spectral waves of visible light.
Heavenly gods correspond to perception of optical brightness and contrast of visible light without differentiation of spectral waves.
Terrestrial gods correspond to perception of optical outlines, namely distinguishing shapes of motionless and mobile objects of visible reality.
Look more detail information about physiology of human perception of visible reality in other sources.
In particular read information about color theories of European physiologists Thomas Young and Hermann Helmholtz, also Ewald Hering.
RUDRA - vowel sound À - red color.
Name of RUDRA is common denomination of atmospheric gods that corresponds to significant hierarchical status of this mythological deity and great value of vowel sound À which in the context of Vedic Sanskrit has the greatest frequency of using.
RUDRA personifies fire or fiery substance of terrestrial atmosphere that corresponds to increasing of temperature and decreasing of air humidity, or weather which is warmer and dry in comparison with climatic norm.
Also RUDRA corresponds with weak electrostatic tension of air.
MATARISHVAN - vowel sound Ý - orange color.
MATARISHVAN alongside with RUDRA is mythological deity of fire and fiery substance of terrestrial atmosphere that corresponds with increasing of temperature and decreasing of humidity but strong electrostatic tension of air.
Namely MATARISHVAN and RUDRA are equivalent deities, but in one case terrestrial atmosphere has weak electrostatic tension that is caused by small quantity of molecular particles of chemical impurity in air. And in the second case terrestrial atmosphere is electrified, that is caused by air which has large number of molecular particles of chemical impurity which accumulate electric potential of magnetic field of the Earth.
It is necessary to consider that magnetic field of the Earth in the context of Vedic mythology is connected with terrestrial deities. And atmospheric gods personify parameters of air which can be strong or weak electrified.
APAS - vowel sound Î - green color.
APAS according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological goddess who personifies water substance of terrestrial atmosphere that corresponds to increasing of humidity and decreasing of air temperature, or more damp and cool weather conditions in comparison with climatic norm.
Also APAS corresponds with weak electrostatic tension of air.
PARJANYA - vowel sound Ó - yellow color.
PARJANYA according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who personifies thundercloud and alongside with APAS is deity of water substance of terrestrial atmosphere that corresponds to increasing of humidity and decreasing of temperature but strong electrostatic tension of air.
Namely APAS and PARJANYA are equivalent deities, but increasing of humidity in one case is not the reason of atmospheric precipitation as air possesses weak electrostatic tension. And increasing of humidity in the second case is the reason of rains and fogs, also thunder-storms. Because air possesses strong electrostatic tension, that is caused by large number of molecular particles of chemical impurity which are the reason for formation of rain clouds and thunderclouds, also for occurrence of precipitations as a result of condensation of atmospheric moisture.
TRITA APTYA - vowel sound ß - purple color.
TRITA APTYA corresponds to low humidity and decreasing of temperature, also weak electrostatic tension of air.
TRITA APTYA and RUDRA correspond with interconnected opposite meteorological parameters which are shown when temperature of air rises above or falls below freezing point of water.
RUDRA - dry and hot summer air.
TRITA APTYA - dry and frosty winter air.
ADJA ECAPAD - vowel sound Å - pink color.
ÀÄÆÀ ÝÊÀÏÀÄ according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who personifies the one-legged or lame leg goat.
ADJA ECAPAD corresponds to low humidity and decreasing of temperature, also strong electrostatic tension of air.
ADJA ECAPAD and MATARISHVAN correspond with interconnected opposite meteorological parameters which are shown when temperature of air rises above or falls below freezing point of water.
MATARISHVAN - electrified dry and hot summer air.
ADJA ECAPAD - electrified dry and cold winter air.
AHY BUDHNYA - vowel sound ¨ - light blue color.
AHY BUDHNYA according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who personifies the snake or serpent of depths.
AHY BUDHNYA corresponds to high humidity and increasing of temperature, also weak electrostatic tension of air.
AHY BUDHNYA and APAS correspond with interconnected opposite meteorological parameters which are shown when temperature of air rises above or falls below freezing point of water.
APAS - damp and cool summer air.
AHY BUDHNYA - damp and warm winter air.
APAM NAPAT - vowel sound Þ - brown color.
APAM NAPAT according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who personifies the son of water.
APAM NAPAT corresponds to high humidity and increasing of temperature, also strong electrostatic tension of air.
APAM NAPAT and PARJANYA correspond with interconnected opposite meteorological parameters which are shown when temperature of air rises above or falls below freezing point of water.
PARJANYA - electrified damp and cool summer air.
APAM NAPAT - electrified damp and warm winter air.
VAYU - vowel sound Û - violet color.
VAYU according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who is personification of wind.
VAYU corresponds to increasing of atmospheric pressure, that is connected with formation of anticyclones and decreasing of air humidity.
VATA - vowel sound È - dark blue color.
VATA according to word meanings of Vedic Sanskrit is mythological god who personifies force of wind.
VATA corresponds to decreasing of atmospheric pressure, that is connected with formation of cyclones and increasing of air humidity.
VAYU and VATA personify movement of air, namely meteorological processes according to which there is origin of streams of airspace weights in atmosphere of the Earth.
Driver in air chariots of VAYU and VATA is INDRA, that corresponds to phonetic correlations of sounds È É Û.
Also INDRA is connecting nexus in mutual relations of all atmospheric Vedic gods, and in essence this mythological entity is divine regulator of compound complex of meteorological processes which form climate of the Earth, that correspond to parities of É with iotated vowel sounds of speech ß Å ¨ Þ which are derivative from À Ý Î Ó, namely ÉÀ ÉÝ ÉÎ ÉÓ.
It is possible to tell that owing to INDRA orange heat of MATARISHVAN and pink frost of ADJA ECAPAD, also green fog of APAS and blue hoarfrost of AHY BUDHNYA, also red heat of RUDRA and purple fever of TRITA APTYA, also yellow thunder-storm of PARJANYA and brown snow of APAM NAPAT in combination to violet and dark blue winds of VAYU and VATA form atmosphere of the Earth, also in combination to optical parameters of light of twelve heavenly gods form visible picture of the sky.
Though yellow thunder-storms or green fogs or brown snow cannot be, but parities of spectral colors of rainbow with meteorological weather phenomena can be considered as poetic or artistic images, and in essence as abstract picture of supernatural reality which extends behind usual human eyesight or vision.
In the book of Genesis in the Bibles is written about divine rainbow.
"And God said: This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations. I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh".

Therefore divine hierarchy of Vedic  mythology in Vedas can be considered as celestial image of uniform God which is real in atmosphere of the Earth and cosmic space beams of heavenly bodies, also in sounds of human speech and spectral colors of rainbow.
